The centre

Stables, school, care.

For over 35 years, we have nurtured the relationship between horse and rider with expertise, respect and daily care.

Our services

Every gesture begins with listening.

Life at the stables is about far more than time in the saddle. It is care, knowledge, technique and trust built day after day.

Farriery01

The art of the horseshoe

Farriery

Farriery is an ancient craft, often underestimated yet essential to a horse’s wellbeing: the shoe must be fitted to the hoof, never the hoof to the shoe.

For those seeking either an introduction or a deeper understanding of the craft, our centre offers decades of experience as well as a shoeing service for privately owned horses.

Horse care and knowledge02

Growing as riders

Horse care and knowledge

Time in the saddle is only one part of caring for your equine partner. Knowing how to move safely beside a horse matters just as much as knowing how to ride.

Tying up correctly, grooming, saddling, unsaddling and bridling are essential everyday skills. Cavallonatura develops both confidence and technique in everyone who trains at the centre.

Training03

Listening, trust, technique

Training

We have always trained our own horses as well as those entrusted to the centre.

We favour gentle training. Where previous training has been ineffective, we create a retraining programme using techniques selected for each horse’s individual character.

Livery04

A home in the Madonie

Livery

The centre offers stable livery in two arrangements designed for different needs.

Basic livery includes feed and a stable, while day-to-day care remains with the owner; paddock turnout is available as an extra. Full livery includes daily cleaning, feed, saddling and unsaddling, paddock turnout, shoeing, clipping and exercise.

Riding lessons05

For every level

Riding lessons

Mario, a professional instructor, guides every student on their individual journey. Lessons begin with getting to know the horse, grooming and saddling: gestures that build trust before work in the saddle.

Our spacious arena welcomes riders of every level with reliable school horses. Jumping courses can be arranged for more experienced students, who may also train with their own horse kept at livery. Minimum age: 10.

Equine-assisted therapy

Cavallonatura believes in the physical, psychological and relational value of meeting a horse.
