Four routes
Every excursion leaves from the centre and crosses a different part of the area. Duration and pace are agreed according to the group’s experience and seasonal conditions.
Drove roads and vineyards
The route takes its name from the Zurrica district near Sant’Anastasia. From the centre, an ancient drove road opens views over the sea and the Madonie, passes through the vineyards of the medieval abbey and reaches a trail with an exhilarating two-kilometre stretch.

The four boundaries
Across open countryside, among olive and almond groves and grazing animals, the ride reaches the hill marking the boundaries of Castelbuono, Isnello, Cefalù and Pollina. From the summit, the sea and, on clear days, the Aeolian Islands come into view. An ideal sunset destination.

Woodland and coast
Two ancient oaks meet overhead, creating shade and woodland scents. The route reaches the hill above Cefalù, overlooking the sea, the Rocca and the small harbour, before crossing an old cork-oak wood.

Manna and the Tiberio Gorges
In Valdemone, where manna is still traditionally harvested, quiet tracks wind past farmhouses, old mills, olive groves and manna ash trees. The ride reaches the Tiberio Gorges, ancient geological formations immersed in the atmosphere of the Sicilian countryside.
